Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

A mage's abilities are:supernatural strength,able to cast magic spells,able to survive for a long period of time.
Her staff/rod appears when shes battling with someone.

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

dA muro Portraits

The Project
In an effort to get creative again I've decided to open up commissioned caricatures of my fellow deviants created using deviantART muro. I've been so impressed by what all deviantART muro is capable of I thought why not merge the two!

Here's an example of what I'm offering. In the frame to the left is a portrait I have already completed of `shuttermonkey. The portraits are 550x800px which I've found to be easier to work with but also has a nice ratio that allows the perfect portrait to be displayed.

The Process
Once you decide you would like to commission me for a portrait you will need to send me a note where we will arrange a date and time to meet. There's two ways this can go down. Either you can send me a picture of yourself and I complete the commission from that or we can meet on skype where I'll have you pose and I can sketch you over webcam. Should you choose the latter while I'm sketching we can use this opportunity to get to know one another. Laugh, joke around or just sit quietly till the job is done. Once the portrait is completed I will post it to my gallery to be seen among the rest of the portraits and save/send a copy of the original to you. I've been toying with the idea of turning the portraits into 50x50px avatars that you can display on your page, if this is something you're interested in please let me know.

The Price
As I've mentioned before these portraits are commissioned works. These paid commissions have a starting price of 800 points, which is $10 usd. Should you wish to include special elements like a pet or another person this price will be discussed before any work has begun. These extras can range anywhere from 80 to 400 points depending on the difficulty.
