I had this skin stored away for a future project, but I wanted to try out the new css system so consider it my gift to all of dA. Feel free to use it as you see fit, however there are a few things I would like to point out.
All the important stuff you need is located in the header and footer to comply with the new journal skin system, so please remember to go through it and switch out the link locations.
You can add as many link in the top bar as you like. Remember those with smaller monitors though, if you have to many the tabs will get cut off and they wont be able to access them.
The crest image is also a link. It doesn't have to be but it is, so make sure and change the url location to one of your choosing.
Since text in the journal doesn't get copied with the skin here are a few things you can do with the skin.
A title (currently reads 'header text' is written like this: <div class="head">Your text Goes Here</div> Feel free to add as many of these as you wish.
An indented bold quote is written like this: <strong>quoted text<strong> This way you can use the regular <b> tag without any harm.
List items have a custom bullet image. Just wrap it in a <li> tag and it's all set.
If you prefer a numbered list wrap your <li> tags in a <ol> tag and you're good to go.
The features box is in the footer, some notes on that are:
A new header (the one that currently says features) is wrapped in two bold tags. Feel free to make as many extra headings as you wish
You can have as many thumbs as you wish, the box will stretch to fit, so feature away!
If you want to you are free to add text after the features box, Just indent a few times after the very last </div> in the footer and continue writing.
You can add the features box to the main journal text are in case you want multiple feature boxes. It won't cause any issues.
This journal is coded to work in all browsers but if you experience any issues please don't hesitate to contact me.
i love the color
Now that everything is official, i should try this myself
