redo one of her characters... i have ben wanting to draw a mermaid for sometime now and that was one of the choices. aperntly she was down in Florida and she drew herself as a mermaid. so i took that and adapted it. she's sunbathing on some rocks somewhere (im guessing in florida although it never gets that pretty here so im saying in the bahamas

) the waves are supposed to be splashing against these said "rocks" believe me this was no easy task in illustrator... yes i got bored. i havnt been inspired in a while besides all the homework i have to do. i spat this out in a few hours... longer than i thought it would take me actually :S.

Andrea SwimFan II by =Ikue Bright vibrant colours and great framing just add the icing on the cake for this fishy feast for the eyes. Attention to detail in this vector has really paid off. My personal favourite bits are the caustic lighting effects shining on the body. Great style and feel to this piece. ( Suggested by `ChewedKandi and Featured by $zilla774 )
